On Sunday, October 19, students from the Montgomery Catholic Key Club volunteered at the 3rd Annual HALO Make a Memory Event at the Train Shed in Downtown Montgomery. The event was organized by Wendy and Nathan Blakely in honor and memory of their infant son Owen and other families who have experienced the early or sudden passing of a child. The HALO Make a Memory Event strives to encourage families to make memories every day and never to take a single day for granted. Montgomery Catholic students volunteered by helping children with games such as Putt-Putt, Tic Tac Toe and other fun activities such as the Pumpkin Patch, Face Painting, and Bouncy House.
