Alabama Key Club Fall Rally Led by Catholic Senior, Derek Kelly

On Sunday, October 5, Divisions 13 and 14 of the Alabama Key Club held a Fall Rally at the Alabama National Fair.  Key Club Lt. Governor Derek Kelly from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School, along with Lt. Governor Morgan Tew led the rally. Schools in attendance were Montgomery Catholic, Alabama Christian Academy, Brew Tech, Robert E Lee, St James, Success Unlimited, Elmore County, and Reeltown. These students are involved in service projects through their own Key Clubs at their respective high schools as well as statewide projects such as fundraising for Children's Hospital through the Alabama Key Club.  The Montgomery and Tallassee Kiwanis Clubs sponsor these Key Clubs and assisted in organizing this rally at the Fair, which is also sponsored by the Montgomery Kiwanis Club as a fundraiser for local charities. Jack Gallassini was the Keynote Speaker of the Rally and spoke on giving your time, talent, and treasure to help others in the community.  The students had a good time getting to know each other, sharing ideas, and learning how to be good leaders and officers in their own clubs. There were 57 students in attendance.
