Middle School Squad All Cheers at NCA Camp

The Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School Middle School Cheerleaders recently attended the National Cheerleading Association's Summer Camp held on the campus of Auburn University. The squad improved each day of the camp, winning awards ranging from "outstanding" to "superior." The squad received a spirit stick each day. Kennedy Thomas, Blakely Savage, and Elizabeth Walker were named NCA All-American nominees. The girls are looking forward to cheering when the Middle School football team hosts Tallassee on Tuesday, September 4.

Newmeyer Named South's MVP at All-Star Games

Rising senior Colin Newmeyer was named the Most Valuable Player for the South squad at the All-Star Games. Colin scored the only goal for the South team in the first half and finished with three shots on goal. Congratulations Colin! Colin is the son of Brian '81 and Kristi Newmeyer.
