The Knights swept Lee Scott at Lee Scott on Tuesday, October 1. The Montgomery Catholic Termites beat the undefeated Warriors 20-16. Chase Ford scored three touchdowns in the win. Ethan Binns converted on a 2-point conversion. Shawn Sponsler sealed the win with a tackle on 4th and 3 with under 30 seconds to go in the game.
The Pee Wee game had the Knights winning 20-6. In the win, Nathan Downes and Christian “Cat” Ivey scored touchdowns. Easton Wilcoxson scored on a two point conversion. Also in the game, 12 different Knight players ran the ball. Many for their first time in their career.
With the win, the Montgomery Catholic Termite team improves 5-1 on the season. The Pee Wee team breaks above .500 with a 4-3 record.
Catholic’s next game is Tuesday October 8th at St. James. Termites Kick-off at 5 PM followed by the Pee Wee’s at 6 PM. GO KNIGHTS!
