High school students from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School spent nine days touring Spain this summer. The students toured Madrid, Malaga, Toledo, Seville, Granada, and Segovia. While in Seville, they toured the Cathedral of Seville, which is the largest cathedral in Spain, and The Royal Alcazares. In Granada, the students toured the Alhambra. While in Toledo, sightseeing included the Cathedral of Toledo, the burial of the Count of Orgaz by El Greco, St. Mary's Synagogue, and a sword factory.The students toured the Prado and a Royal Palace in Madrid and the Roman Aqueduct and a castle in Segovia. For some this was their last excursion before heading off to college, for others, it was their summer vacation. Many of the students are looking forward to future travels.
