After learning about the plight of a local pit bull, “Louis Vuitton”, who was badly burned and beaten, the third graders at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School’s St. Bede Campus felt called to help in the dog’s recovery. At the school’s third annual Bohemian Art Fling Arts and Crafts Show, the students held a bake sale and donated 100% of the proceeds to the Montgomery Humane Society to help nurse the animal back to health. The students raised over $950 from their sale. A representative from the Montgomery Humane Society will meet with the students and accept their generous offering on Tuesday, October 9th at 1:30 p.m. With great care from the Humane Society, Louis Vuitton is well on his way to recovery.
