Fifth grade students at St. Bede recently participated in the “Design An Ad” Contest sponsored by The Montgomery Advertiser. This program provides a valuable opportunity for students to further develop and showcase their skills by creating ads for local businesses and is an initiative of The Montgomery Advertiser to enrich its Newspapers In Education (NIE) Program. Fifth graders Callie Wilkerson, Daniel Weber, and Andrea Bianchi won the ad competition for their companies. Andrea’s advertisement won Third Place over all in the 4-6 grade competition and was awarded a $50 US Savings Bond.
