The teams, coached by football players from each class, plotted and practiced their plans for attack. As night fell, the crowd cheered in the stands when the girls took the field. In the first match, the sophomores shut out the freshmen 22-0. The second match was a real nail-biter between the juniors and seniors with the juniors winning 6-0. The seniors shut out the freshmen 20-0, sealing third place. The championship game came down to a battle between the middle classes. The junior girls claimed the victory over the sophomores 20-0.
