It is with great excitement Montgomery Catholic introduces Mrs. Jennifer Veres as the Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School Summer Day Camp Director.
Jennifer is an educator in the Montgomery Public School system and previously served in the field of child psychology for nine years before changing careers to pursue a calling to teach. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Spring Hill College, the Jesuit institution in Mobile, Alabama and two Masters degrees from AUM in psychology and education. Jennifer has extensive experience working with children grades preschool through high school, and has two children of her own (Evie, a third grader at our Holy Spirit Elementary campus and John Henry, age 3). She and her husband, Daniel have been married 11 years and are active members at Holy Spirit parish.
Montgomery Catholic is pleased to offer a summer day camp at the Holy Spirit campus this year. Students will participate in a wide variety of programs including: vacation bible school, art, summer reading and math, Mandarin Chinese class, technology, field trips, not to mention tons of fun and games. The students enrolled at the MCPS Day camp will have the opportunity to attend MCPS athletic camps at a significant discount. The camp will begin May 31 and end August 5, and will be closed July 4-8. The program is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and includes lunch and two snacks daily.
Montgomery Catholic is happy to offer families a wonderful option for summer childcare, engaging and encouraging students to be all that God calls them to be.
