Montgomery Catholic Excited about the New School Year

Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School welcomed back their families on Sunday, August 9 with a Back to School Mass and Street Party. Monsignor Charles Troncale celebrated Mass in the Middle/High School Chapel and afterwards students and their families were welcomed back to campus by the Marching Knights in the school courtyard. The Varsity Cheerleaders painted faces and introduced one of the school's favorite cheers before Jim 'N Nicks BBQ was served for dinner in the Dolly Barranco Activity Center.

Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School is looking forward to a wonderful 2015-2016 school year. New for this year, the high school campus proudly debuts an AP Computer Science class this year, while the high school and middle school will both offer Mandarin Chinese through a partnership with Auburn University Montgomery. Both Montgomery Catholic elementary campuses (St. Bede and Holy Spirit) will offer Spanish for all grades beginning in K4 and Chinese Cultural Studies. The St. Bede campus will receive new playground equipment and the Holy Spirit campus will now have a Macbook laptop cart to enhance the technology experience in the classroom. The school has a welcomed addition to the fleet, a  77 passenger bus. Finally, the school is excited to report the completion of a new strategic growth plan, which a map to the school's future, and the school is debt free!

While maintaining our mission, this year will have us looking forward, planning and dreaming of all that we will be. Changing Times. Unchanging Faith. Our halls will be filled again on August 17, the first day of school. Go Knights!
