Montgomery Catholic Crowns 2012 Homecoming Queen & King

Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School recently crowned their 2012 Homecoming Queen and King during the half-time ceremonies of the varsity football game as the Knights hosted Geneva  High School, October 5, 2012.  Miss Michaela Marie Armstrong was crowned by the 2011 Homecoming Queen Miss Hailey Loria.  Michaela is the daughter of Brett Armstrong and Joanie Armstrong . Mr. Michael Tyner was named Homecoming King and presented a scepter by 2011 Homecoming King Miller Clemmons . Michael is the son of Russell and Kathy Tyner.


The Freshman Attendant was Nadine Moussalli. Nadine is the daughter of Drs. Samir and Cinzia Moussalli. Nadine was escorted by Patrick O’Mara. Patrick is the son of Col. and Mrs. Ray O'Mara. The Sophomore Attendant was Emily Walker.  Emily is the daughter of James Walker and Dana Walker. Emily was escorted by her bother Jake Walker. The Junior Attendant was MacKenzie Colvin. MacKenzie is the daughter of Chris and Tracie Colvin. MacKenzie was escorted by Kyle Berher.  Kyle is the son of Steve and Ann Berher.

Sarah Talbot was an Senior Attendant.  Sarah is the daughter of Maj. and Mrs. Gordon Talbot.  Sarah was escorted by Homecoming King, Michael Tyner. Shelby Taff was an Senior Attendant.  Shelby is the daughter of Jerry and LuAnne Taff.  Shelby was escorted by Jack Starr. Jack is the son of John and Susan Starr. Homecoming Queen, Michaela Armstrong was escorted by Will Littleton Will is the son of Rick Littleton and Marty Littleton.

Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School welcomed all Alumni home with an Alumni party at the Homecoming game from kick-off to half-time.  Knight Alumni were able to enjoy re-connecting with former classmates and tailgating with Jim-N-Nicks Bar-b-Que, including the class of 2002 celebrating their 10th reunion, the class of 1982 celebrating their 30th reunion and the class of 1977 celebrating their 35th reunion. Montgomery Catholic also welcomed the Class of 1962 home, celebrating their 50th Reunion, including former Knight Football players: Doug McElvy, Jimmy Jehle, Ray Shulstead, and John Lueken who were recognized between quarters.

Montgomery Catholic students celebrated Homecoming Week with a host of daily activities building up to the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 6 held at the St. Bede Family Life Center.
