Montgomery Catholic Soccer Program hosts Marshall Soccer School this summer

The Montgomery Catholic Varsity Boys Soccer program hosted the “Marshall Soccer School” directed by the Marshall University Head Coach Bob Gray this summer on the St. Bede Campus soccer fields. Forty-one young men participated in the five day camp. Groups were determined by age and ability in order to create the best environment for learning, development, and skill set. Coach Gray’s philosophy of hard work combined with the importance of having fun provided the participants with a wealth of knowledge and improved skills throughout the week. Catholic Varsity Coach Tim McCormack said, “It was a pleasure working with Coach Gray and bringing a program of this magnitude to our area. I know these young men learned so much from Bob and his staff throughout the camp. We hope to bring Coach Gray and the Marshall Soccer School back again next summer.”
