Mary Reagan Starrett, a sixth grade student at Montgomery Catholic's St. Bede Campus, will be the elementary representative to the Montgomery County Spelling Bee in February. Montgomery Catholic held individual spelling bees in grades four through six to determine the classroom winners who then competed for the championship on January 13, 2010.
Individual classroom winners are Brian Anderson (5th), James Sadie (5th), Charles Deuter (5th), Ivy Bach (5th), Erika Ellington (6th), Courtney Wallace (6th), Lucien Griffin (4th), Ann Williams (4th), Katelyn Stark (4th), and Marcelo Villena (4th). After three rounds to determine the winner, the runner up is Maria Rossi (6th) and champion Mary Reagan Starrett. Montgomery Catholic Honors Middle School Top Students
Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School recently honored their top students during an Honors Assembly. Students who attained A Honor Roll and A-B Honor Roll during the first semester were called to receive their certificates during this special ceremony. The A Honor Roll students are Ashley Barranco, Paige Barranco, Ann Faulkner, Elle Gerleman, Mandy Jones, Alex Micher, Olivia Nobles, and Sophie Williams. St. Bede Brownie Troop #9729 Spread Cheer
Brownie troop #9729 members from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School collected paper products, cleaning supplies and toiletries for residents at Capital Heights Place, an elderly assisted living facility in Montgomery. The girls packaged all of the "goodies" in recyclable bags and delivered them to the residents personally and enjoyed meeting and chatting with the residents. Montgomery Catholic Inducts New NJHS Members
Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School recently welcomed 25 new members into their chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. These middle school students have exhibited outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Montgomery Catholic Kindergarten Welcomes Special Guest
