Little Hands BIG Hearts for Oil Spill Relief

Best friends Sarah Rose Burden and Anna Sadie, third grade students at Montgomery Catholic, share a love for the beach and after hearing about the Gulf Coast oil spill, they wanted to do something to help those affected by the disaster. On a hot Saturday morning in late June, Sarah Rose and Anna set up a lemonade stand during a family yard sale and solicited all of the shoppers to purchase a glass of their delicious lemonade for a worthy cause. Together they raised over $35 which they donated to the Governor's Emergency Relief Fund. Sarah Rose and Anna continue to keep the people of the Gulf Coast in their daily prayers and spreading the word about helping those in most need.
